Closing a Purchase Order
Note
- Before closing a partially fulfilled purchase order, the user must bill it, as it cannot be billed once closed.
- Closed purchase orders can only be imported into Order Fulfillment and Goods Return for warranty purposes.
Closed status in Britana is considered a valid transaction. User can close a purchase order manually if he did not intend to fulfill the remaining items. It is possible to close a purchase order if the status is one of the following: Partially Fulfilled / Pending Billing, Fully Fulfilled / Pending Billing, Pending Fulfillment / Fully Billed and Partially Fulfilled / Fully Billed.
If the user has an authority to close the purchase order, CLOSE button appears. Otherwise, there is NO close button.
